Let’s make art together

It all begins with an idea. You feel the urge to reconnect to your creativity… to put pencil to paper or brush to paint.

I believe everyone is an artist and I’m here to help you learn by doing in this selection of upcoming workshops and events.

About the Tutor: Anna Battle

I’m a contemporary Toowoomba artist with over 30 years of painting experience and 15 years of teaching, face to face and online. I live for COLOUR and my mission is to share the joy of drawing and painting.

I regularly exhibit with my mother, artist Diana Battle, and my original collections are listed on her website. I have collaborated with Rosalie House Winery, Pechey Distillery, Milton & King Wallpaper and now have my own range of homewares and printed items, including calendars and cards. I've also painted many murals, particularly for the Toowoomba Hospital Foundation and have been the Creative Advisor, alongside Mary-Kate Thomson, of the Grand Central Floral Parade for the past 4 years.

Through my business, Shiny Happy Art, I offer a huge range of online classes and workshops, from drawing to painting and urban sketching. I have taken artists to Norfolk Island and many other Queensland locations. I have offered face-to-face classes in many forms over the years, and I’m excited to share my approach to art making in person once again!
