KIT 4 - Urban Sketching Starter Art Kit

This will get you started with Urban Sketching. You can add/subtract items as you practice and learn new things.

This kit includes:

• A5 XPress-It Watercolour Pad (wire bound, 300gsm pages, 15 sheets)

• Pentel Aquash Water Brush

• 3 x Prismacolor Pencils (red, yellow and blue)

• 12+3 colour Van Gogh Water Colour “Pocket” set

• 1 x White Gel Pen (these are notoriously temperamental, but worth having in your kit)

Please note: items may be substituted by similar brands if necessary due to available supplies.

Once you receive this kit and have used it a few times, you may decide to add:

• a pencil sharpener

• a small tube of White Gouache Paint (Winsor and Newton)

• a clip to hold your pages in the wind

• a second Aquash brush (for art emergencies)

• a thin black pen (I like a 0.8 Pigma Micron)

• a folded piece of watercolour paper, cut to size and stored in the back of your sketchbook (to wipe off your aquash brush between colours)

• use a small pencil case for your pencils, etc

• use a zip pouch that fits everything in it (so you can put the whole pouch in your bag)
