I painted this landscape on a friend’s farm in Meringandan, as the sun was setting and the wind was blowing and I’d bought an easel that wasn’t large enough for the canvas… so my lovely friend, Cath, held it for me as I painted!
I love the way it worked out, and I hope you can imagine standing on the hill that day with me.
An original by Anna Battle, painted in artist-quality acrylics on location and then in my home studio, this painting is the easiest way to add another ‘window with a view’ to your home or office.
It is framed in white.
