Layers and layers of watery primaries, building up this collection of the shape I’ve always loved… the heart.
It’s symbolic of all the ways love shows up - big, small, multi-faceted, a bit messy, showy, gentle, transparent, opaque… I started painting it when I was imagining what it would be like to only see the hearts of people around them, without their bodies.
Weird, but still sort of nice, I think.
